So what is it? It is The Anxiety Canyon!! What the heck is The Anxiety Canyon?

The Anxiety Canyon is the crevasse between a sales person and a prospect and it

prohibits proper open communication between the two. I am sure you have heard

the saying “People love to buy they just hate to be sold.” Think of it, what do YOU

do when a sales person approaches you in a store and starts throwing features and

benefits at you trying to SELL you? You go the other way and “The Grand Canyon” starts to emerge.

The more the sales person comes towards you (tries to sell you) the further away

you move (probably both literally and figuratively). This is what happens when people

try to “sell” people in the traditional “hard sell” mentality. This why you also hear a lot

of people say “I don’t like or trust sales people” and “I don’t want to be a sales person.”

Making money is the result of sales. The reason behind sales or the foundation of sales

is making someones life better. If the product or service you are “selling” is making someone’s

life better (fixing their PAIN), they will buy it.

How can they find out if what you are selling is going to improve their life (or fill up that Anxiety Canyon? )Simple. You show them!!

But how?…

Through putting the emphasis on THEM, asking questions, LISTENING, giving FREE samples.

TRUTH and RECIPROCITY is what fills the Canyon!! Not convincing people or having the

latest “Automated System” where you don’t have to speak to anyone!!

This mode of thinking applies to everything…not just business.

Just start trying this in your personal life as well…I dare ya!!!:)
